The Travellers Rest in Stanley is less than 2 miles away from The Ashes Exclusive Barn Wedding Venue in Endon. The Ashes is an award-winning, exclusive-use wedding venue and as such it does not operate a public bar or restaurant. If you’re lucky enough to be attending a wedding at The Ashes it might be useful to know that both wedding etiquette (and the local authorities) dictate that drinks may not be served at The Ashes until after the wedding ceremony. If you fancy a cheeky tipple before attending a wedding at The Ashes, we’d love to invite you up to The Traveller’s Rest.

You’ll need to drive to The Travellers Rest from The Ashes, it’ll take less than 5 minutes.

Directions from The Ashes Wedding Venue:

• At the bottom of The Ashes’ driveway
• Turn Right onto the A53 (heading towards Stoke-on-Trent)
• Travel 0.6 miles
• Turn Left onto Station Road
• Stay on that road, as you climb into Stanley Village look out for The Traveller’s Rest Pub on the left.

We have ample parking in our private car park at the rear of the pub.
